Where is the Destruction of American Hierarchies Leading?
Marxism is to Satan what the One Ring is to Saruon. But in our Middle Earth, Gollum is winning though his shadow is taller than his soul.
Karl Marx and the minions of his cult have insisted that hierarchies are evil. They have labored since, at least, 1848 to smash them so their assumed natural goodness of humanity would be released to usher in Paradise on earth. History is like a god to Marxists but to their chagrin, they’ve never been able to kill off enough dissidents to satisfy their god’s thirst for human blood on its diabolical altar to establish this longed-for Utopia. Humanity is made of hierarchies. It’s natural. Instinctual. Unavoidable. The question is how to aim for the most ethical hierarchy, not to smash the concept and hope for the best.
Marx’s old death cult met its match against America’s constitutional republic, grounded in Judeo-Christian ethics, fueled by free enterprise.
That was the American system. For a while, it was shaped, reformed, and improved, arguably reaching its actualized pinnacle in the 1960s. It has been tumbling down from the high arch since the late 60s. As Benjamin Franklin said, "A Republic if you can keep it," when the lady asked whether we have a republic or a monarchy.
The Marxists kept banging their fists against a culture rooted in Christianity, a faith that dethroned the gods of the Roman empire. The people of America kept shrugging off the Marxist god of materialism even when encouraged by Presidents Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Delano Roosevelt to embrace the “good” parts. But like the One Ring forged in the fiery chasm of Mt. Doom, marxism can’t be used for good. The Marxist learned over time that it would take more than violence and assassinations to overthrow the West as it had China, N. Korea, and Russia.
They figured out after the disaster of materialist Marxism that it was the Christians with their biblically inspired hierarchies that solidified this nation in keeping “a republic.” The people of America weren’t, on the whole, disgruntled. Ethical hierarchies prescribed by God’s Word, however clumsily applied within congregations, communities, values, and families were and are mighty enough to halt and turned back the dark message and the dystopian nightmares of Karl Marx. The god of envy could not, at the time, convince the common American of a collective misery needed to consider Marxism. It was not the walls of a fortress that the Marxist needed to tear down, it was the hardy soul of a vibrant nation, the Spirit within, that had created a strong resilient people. The preachers of Darkness had to use another angle.
They took on the garb of compassion and turned Property into privilege. They used the good intentions of the Civil Rights movement as a crowbar to pry open storehouses of unearned and mythological guilt on a population that had never owned slaves and far beyond “colored” water fountains. They encouraged, especially white Americans to fixate on past imperfections, missteps, and misdeeds of the USA and transfer them onto their contemporary shoulders. The context was stripped away. History was revised to focus on the sins, not the redemption, not the improvements, not the pursuit of happiness.
They did not announce Marxism's new name. Only in retrospect do we now see it was Neo-Marxism or Cultural Marxism moving under various names that spread the sweet poison.
Through an array of tools, the American soul was beginning to be marred, warped, disabled, and ridiculed to point of societal neurosis and dysfunction. It was accepted on many levels within the cultural hierarchies that America was not only flawed but evil. The Marxist with their prophets had succeeded in turning the levers of influence on the culture against itself. They had successfully injected a Trojan Horse deep into the soul of our nation.
The Marxists who've been marching through our institutions under the guise of liberalism for decades working patiently on their own brand of misshaping, deforming, and "improving" have been wrestling, taking that spark of independence from the American soul of which Franklin spoke. More and more Americans simply gave up over decades until many are participating in their demise, gleefully in many cases.
When a nation hates itself, the Marxists no longer need to land on our shores and establish a beachhead. Instead, they invaded and dug their new trenches in the ground of America's culture. Their Marxist cells implanted themselves in our academies because Americans valued education. So, their ideas spread slowly in sheep's clothing until they flowed into the culture, and thus the congregations of the Church.
The erosion started seductively and slowly. It was bolstered not by physical violence but by the mindset not only born of Marx but of Darwin and Freud too. Their legion of misbegotten minions preached their truth, i.e., “the Science.” The attacks on the American Christian soul built from a slow burn to a frenzy to nowadays when you can hardly distinguish Churchianity, the form of godliness, from hedonism now rendered as “expressing your true self.”
Whether by instinct or intellect, the Marxists knew that Founding Father John Adams was right, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." When you look at our television, our live streaming, our google searches, our binge-watching can you honestly believe that we are a "moral and religious people?"
That is why we are defenseless against the actual satanic modern Cultural Marxism. They convinced us that our sword of Truth (our faith, our ordered liberty) is, if not fruitless, evil and should be discarded. Marxism, when it is fully understood, is an assault on the very essence of Truth that established our biblically sound hierarchies. We've heard and repeated the philosophical catchphrase, the truth to you is not the truth to me. We lost touch with reality and the standards that once guided us. When our culture discarded the Truth it lost track of its soul and became stupefied, as we witness today watching Drag Queen Story Hour performed to children, when parents and doctors partner to murder children in the womb and then mutilate the child’s genitalia if they believe the organs don’t correspond to the designation at birth.
We are gazing at our quickly approaching demise not fatalistically but with boredom accentuated by a yawn as if we are not even living in our own skin but in a costume in a stage performance. Our last act will end cheered by the Cultural Marxists. We exit stage Leftist. The walls of the hallway of our exit to tyranny might display the Ten Commandments, The Bill of Rights, and the lyrics to “American Pie.” Relics of our past.
Without a shot fired, victims of our manufactured self-loathing, we shuffle off, heads bowed, to our self-made prison. Our lives becoming a symbol of giving up and kneeling to the lesser god of Marxism and its unavoidable unethical hierarchies.
A fitting end…
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.
T.S. Eliot, The Hollow Men
I guess then, behind the prison walls of new and unavoidable hierarchies, the Church, will finally revive when confined and stripped of the liberty our bodies once knew. Perhaps in that confined cell, the world we knew of lost beyond the bars that enclose us will no longer seduce and in time lose its enchantment. There is an escape from this cell in the Truth of the empty tomb. Beyond all the despair, destruction, and death of Satan’s Marxist cult, there is true life in and with Christ.
